Who would be interested in a full 3D solid CAD model of the
suspension/underbody of our trusty 1600? I'd need help from list members
to sketch and measure up all the underbody components. I use IDEAS
software, (if anyone knows what that is), and it might be possible for
me to put together a complete cad assembly. Perhaps one day we could
even get a body scanned and I could surface up a complete car. Who
knows, the CAD data could be used in years to come to reproduce parts
etc. We could even start a company and sell brand new 1600's. haha
The cad model could be useful for investigating engine/suspension
conversion etc. I reckon I could even get a CAE model done so we can
work out where the body needs reinforcement etc..
I'm interested to hear comments...
