Oops... thanks for figuring that out for me.

I just finishied making a rough (still requires a lot of filing) hole the size
of the mazda intake manifold in a 20mm thick piece of aluminium for the adaptor
plate.  I don't know the best way to do it but i used a bench drill press and
drilled about 15 8mm holes tracing the outline of the hole needed.  fun fun
fun..

I hope it goes quicker after all this work..

also, is it advisable to set the float height or anything else when installing a
carb which hasn't been used for a year or two?
