You might be surprised, try asking.  Some of these guys in officialdom land
are human, they like cars too.  If you get to the right ones you never know
what sort of a deal you can do.
25 years ago I thought rallying would never come out of very remote forest
roads, hidden from every one.  But last month I walked through my country
town after tea and watched 250 rally cars compete through the main street
and car parks in the Grand Prix Rally - lucky bastards. Our council is
switched on to the fact that motorsport brings big bucks into the town.  250
cars equals almost 1500 visiting crew and support who spent the night, ate
meals and had repairs done, bought fuel etc.
