I agree mate, its just sometimes that a racetrack isn't always handy. When I live in Mount Isa the nearest racetrack is Hidden Valley about 1600kms away and the nearest drag strip is in Townsville about 1000km away. The only place to really give the car a fanging is out of town off the highway. Telstra has a bitumen road snaking up a hill that goes to one of the repeata stations. It flows nicely with some tricky corners and nice "on camber" hairpin at the end. I reckon it would be perfect for some hillsprints if the local car club could orgainise it but I doubt the local authorites would have a bar of it!!!
