The most original look is to move the firewall bracket across and re bolt it through the firewall by drilling new holes to match. If you dont like the idea of drilling holes in the body work, the cable setup from the carb to a S2 bluebird pedal unit is the easiest option. You need to put a return spring on the carb butterfly shaft, or a cruder strait line spring acting on the cable lever at the carb, to ensure the butterfly closes when you lift your foot off the boogie pedal. The cable setup can actually give the best feel and is a more accurate system if you set up the return spring and cable properly.
