Its just a bar made to connect to a socket.  No ratchet action or anything.  Best thing out for "cracking" stubbon bolts/nuts as the only thing you have to worry about is bending the bar which is pretty hard to do.

I have seen it mentioned a few times with regards to taking the bolts out for an axel, half shafts etc etc.

Is it a socket wrench or ratchet?
