Andrew. Have you done as Terry has said. Unplug the old external regulator and pull the plug apart and only connect the Indicator Light wire from the Bosch Alternator to White/Red wire on the loom side of the plug. I think I might of used the wrong wire when I had a go years back. As far as I know that is all you have to do. Later and good luck. Rick White.
