Sorry, Chase. I was a little preoccupied w/ my own i/c woes last night. Cluster removal on a 124 is straightforward. I made a pair of hooks out of maybe ~14" pieces of clothes hanger wire by bending short hooks in one end & making a fist sized loop in the other to act as handles. Mine was in fairly tight so I used a plastic spreader to work some 303 Protectant in around the edges to act as a lube. Used the same spreader near the upper corners to open a little gap to ease insertion of the hooks. Turn the hooks to engage flanges on the edge of the i/c and pull, working one side first and then the other, repeatedly. Best purchase for the hooks is above, but right next to the upper corners on either side. Work carefully so as to avoid losing purchase and nicking the edges of the i/c. I'll try to remember to take a pic of the cluster for reference & post it w/ the speedo pics in a day or so. Once it's free, you can pull it out just far enough to slip a hand in from the passenger side to pull all the connectors and unscrew the speedo cable. Be gentle on the cable; book says to pull the cable at the tranny to avoid binding it, but as Marshalll pointed out that's not really necessary on a 124. Expect some of the connectors to be really tight, but persistence will pay. After it's out, changing the bulbs is a piece o' cake.
