But I too have to defend the 240D and commuting to and around Boston.  For
the last 5 years I drove my 240D automatic in from the south via the lower
end of 128 & the SE expressway-not as nuts as upper 128 but either fast or
60-0 in a moment's notice.  AS I have aid before in defense of the slow
240D-it requires driving skills that many newer cars don't require-e.g.
thinking ahead, watching hills, not pulling out when you might need another
second.

Having said that, my 240D stick is much quicker and then of course the 2.5t
allows you to give, not receive, the finger.

Commuting on 128 is a  lot like walking on 128...
