Drive line and suspension are separate -- just pull the half shafts after you pull the diff and all will be well.
They don't roll with no diff, I bought one that way. I actually picked up a U-pull rear end just so that I could roll it around. I later swapped it for the howler from the Albatross. Those trailing arms need support, which usually comes through the body of the diff.
