most commercial stoves are great, but most have pilot lights and also require one heck of a vent fan to come up to code.? This is doable in my neck of the woods but costly (and the vent fan on the exterior is unsightly).? However, I note also that the commercial look alikes are much more expensive than the real commercial stoves/ranges.? I would look at a restaurant supply and try to get a new one if that is what you would do.?I must say I considered putting in a cheap used stove, getting my inspection, and then getting the new commercial stove and pitching the old cheap stove.? However, I ended up getting a ge monogram and it has been excellent.? I got mine off ebay and saved?close to 1K?off what several local dealers had to offer.?
