You might have to do the power washer in the sender hole thing to get
the tank clean, then dry it out with something that won't blow it up.
(It's all blowed up!) Anything you pour in the gas is just gonna clog
everything up again when all the sh, er, stuff comes off the tank.
There are a bunch of fuel injector cleaners at the FLAPS, I think
Techron is one that has been recommended.

bottom and it tricked as I expected. I took a long screw driver and
sort of jammed it up in there and it cleared it out to where it
drained better, but not full flow like it should. Pulling the filler
cap, it does have that flaky residue up there, not rust, but that
powdery crap that comes from old gas. My next plan is to pull the
tank strainer. Im thinking I will pull it and I would like to flush
something thru the tank to sort of clear out the loose stuff before I
go to put it back together. Anybody got an idea of what to use? I
guess I could just pour gas thru it. Also, I did notice now the pumps
are running it seems, so hopefully I will not have to replace those.
Also, when I do get it to start, what sort of really heavy duty fuel
system cleaner can I run thru there to clean out the injection system?
