You'll have to do some homework to decide if you want to go the 64 bit route, to make sure your software and drivers for the hardware are available. MS has a website to help determine what is compatible (almost everything is, MS Office is the only thing so far that I know of), you'll have to go to vendor websites to see if 64 bit drivers are available.
