You should be able to put a block under the pan and jack up the engine. I am not convinced that this is the ONLY way to get those bolts out either. But you can tell when you crawl under and look.

Well, I do have a really nice hoist that a friend loaned me. My work for the day is set. I'm going to take a really hard look to make sure this banana rail needs replacing or not.
