Times are a bit tough for car manufacturers and they are in business to make money. Engine development costs money, big money. So they share technology/costs to develop new engines, big deal. As far as I am concerned, if it leads to a better engine than it's all good. Or would you rather that Daimler does it all in house and end up lagging further behind. BMW are kicking their behinds when it comes to engines and Daimler has to catch up. I really don't care about where the engines are made or who makes them, as long as they are the best they can possibly be.

Ok. But still by a Mercedes factory. Nissan engines in a Mercedes is unacceptable. Don't tell me you're OK with it?
