My step son has an old 1969 220d. It seems that he was jump starting the car by
rolling it down a hill to start. Any way the part (don't know the terms) that
connects the trans to the driveshaft is stripped as well as the splines that
come out of the back of the transmission. It seems to me that I will need the
part that connects to the driveshaft as well as the part extending from the
transmission repaired. This may mean new trans? Thanks for any thoughts.
Charles

If you're not a beachrunner, an AWD car comes in handy every five years, if
you're in the habit of driving every time the hurricanes hit.

Mitch.
