Sounds grim. The photo of the NJ roller coaster (formerly on dry land) that's now resting offshore in the lapping ocean is a vivid display of the power of this storm. My friend's brother in Stamford, CT has his home under water. In my lifetime I have never seen anything this devastating and widespread.
