A colleague frustrated the Goodman service guy, when a new valve failed
under warranty... three times. (That is, two defective "new" valves direct
from Goodman.)  The problem wasn't replacing the valve, of course, but that
all the R134a leaked out and the service guy had to eat it.

He (tech) said he wasn't going to warranty his labor/service on Goodman
parts anymore.

That said the colleague got five plus years without any trouble or
maintenance so...
