Closest dealer is ~50 miles away and just about as inconvenient as possible.

My local CarQuest has high quality stuff (just today I put Moog sway bar links
and bushings on the Ranger) at good prices plus warranty is a snap since
they're right around the corner.

Their price on calipers got my attention, remans for $70 each, at that price I
won't bother to look anywhere else.
I know some guys hate remans (Hursty had some quite unkind words) but the set I
put on my '83 240D worked out just fine.

Check the stealership. They are surprisingly competitive on things like rotors
and pads.

Rotors and pads for the front of my S500 are only a few dollars more than the
OE ones. Not only that, MB throws in the brake paste, too!
