Closest dealer is ~50 miles away and just about as inconvenient as possible.
My local CarQuest has high quality stuff (just today I put Moog sway bar links and bushings on the Ranger) at good prices plus warranty is a snap since they're right around the corner. Their price on calipers got my attention, remans for $70 each, at that price I won't bother to look anywhere else. I know some guys hate remans (Hursty had some quite unkind words) but the set I put on my '83 240D worked out just fine. -Curt Date: Mon, 08 Apr 2013 18:21:13 -0400 From: Dan Penoff <d...@penoff.com> To: Mercedes Discussion List <mercedes@okiebenz.com> Subject: Re: [MBZ] Rear brake calipers Message-ID: <dbbc9db3-2167-45a0-aeb8-b2aeed2ba...@penoff.com> Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Check the stealership. They are surprisingly competitive on things like rotors and pads. Rotors and pads for the front of my S500 are only a few dollars more than the OE ones. Not only that, MB throws in the brake paste, too!
