It seems to me that the ethanol mix gas goes bad way faster.  In days
compared go months for the non-ethanol stuff.

I end up with ethanol gas in my dual sport bike and if it sits for a few
days it is a bear to start unless I drain the bowl and get fresh gas into
the carb.  Then it fires right up.

I mix Poulan synyhetic 2 stroke oil with non-ethanol gas and it can sit in
my chainsaw untouched for months at a time and it always starts easily and
runs fine.

Odd how some folks have trouble and some don't.  Must be environmental to a
point as well.
