I think that Andrew's concern is that the dealer will run the VIN, and the VIN 
will show that the campaign-covered work was already performed, and then Andrew 
will have some 'splanin to do...

If I wanted to keep a relationship with that dealer, I wouldn't want to have to 
do any 'splanin...

My thoughts exactly.  Unless there was something unusual about the engine I 
can't imagine them going to the trouble of trying to read the engine serial 
number.  If it's like the M119 it's pretty much impossible to get to in frame.
