It is Osama crap for cars that has made a mess of the business.  The old cars 
got destroyed, so used car volume crashed.  The new cars sold at that time were 
tin boxes, not cars you really wanted to hang onto.  The dealers were begging 
folks to buy, since there was almost no business to be had.  SWMBA got her 
korean car at the end of the season.  It had come up from PDX, to a lesser 
dealer here, and they were trying to push it at near new car pricing.  I think 
we got them to toss in all manner of goodies, extend the warrantee, and cut the 
price by $8.5k.  Five years of service was part of the deal, so it has only 
ever been to the dealer for care.  About the only out of pocket was fuel, a 
better battery and tires.  And wipers.

Trying to find valid pricing for the model now is crazy.   Low miles, like 
hers, are going for top blue book.  Probably best time to dump it, as it is 
still under warrantee, has all records, and the economy is getting ready to 
tick along again
