Attaboy ! You summed it up, in one post. It is the essence of America and the Constitution. Present individual occupying the office of president really doesn't "get it". About 295,000,000 of the 315,000,000 Citizens of America "have it and won't lose it". America is strong because it's individuals are empowered. America is flooded with refugees because they want to also become empowered.
It is why we don't speak German, or Japanese, or Russian in this country, and won't be speaking Chinese or Arabic. We have repelled all efforts to force the country to submit, at great cost of both blood and treasure, and will continue to because this individual empowerment is worth dying for. The powers not specifically granted to government SHALL remain with the States and the Individual Citizens.. [Article 10, US Constitution] (paraphrased). Anything "granted" can be "taken back at will" , just a reminder to all overblown government agencies, communist organizers, and community agitators.
