Registry, database, whatever you want to call it there has to be some well of information to pull from and it can't be free, somebody will have to pay for it. Makes some sense to me for the buy to pay a relatively small fee, say $10, on each purchase.
They need to register the (relatively) few NON-right holders, not the gun owners. If you're not on the list, here's your gun, thank you and have a nice day.
