When I bought the Cessna, the battery had been on an aircraft battery
minder, and was reported to be good. I got the minder with the deal. When I
finally got the aircraft ready to start, I checked the battery, and found
it dead. I have no idea how long it had been on the "battery minder", but
the plates had turned into fine flakes.
