I have a '28 Farmall Regular which has steel pistons. If I can ever get the dammed things out I'll take a picture.

Do you remember the way Jim Cathey removed the pistons from that rusty Hercules generator?

But they were aluminum pistons, and were untouched by the corrosion.
So I was ahead by half right there. Electrolysis would be an easy
thing to try first, it's nearly free and only takes a little bit of
time and electricity.
