When I lived in WI there were still a number of mink ranchers around the plant 
where I worked. They had a wooden box on the back of a four wheeler with the 
exhaust plumbed through it that they rode around the property. When it was time 
to "harvest" the mink, they drove up to the pens, took them out one at a time, 
put them in the box and revved the engine for a minute or two.

Open the box, remove the now deceased mink, and move on to the next one...
