I tried patching the clear on arctic white. 600 wet sand, then spray
with a rattle can. I did not hope to have it good as new, but I did
hope to slow the peeling. THe clear I applied was not as good as
original, and it did not stand up well. I do believe it slowed the
peeling. It would need to be reapplied annually, as it didn't seem to
be very UV resistant.

Neither the base coat not the clear coat matched the rest of the car. I was
afraid to sand the color coat more - ended up using 4000 grit - still not
shiny enough. Colors wrong. etc.
