I agree with Mitch on this. Pull it out and repair. Else it is likely to go 
flat at an inconvenient (or even unsafe!) time. I'm a lot fussier about tires 
than I am about paint!

Nails don't fly out, philips screwdrivers don't even fly out, but once the head 
is gone they can get pushed in.
