one day someone will figure out how to put EFI on small engines at a
cost comparable to carbs and carbs will disappear completely - like they
have on cars.

Yup. Ironic that by adjusting them you _decreased_ the emissions
- the very thing those goofy caps were supposed to insure, yet you
had to bypass or remove them
