On a cross city run yesterday I noticed diesel prices in Phoenix are now well North of the $ 3 mark... best was $3,09 ... highest I saw was $3.29 with gas running more in the $3.20+ range. So, fuel prices are clearly in an upward spike.
On that note. I went to look at a 1994 S600 V12 Sedan with 76,000 miles that has been setting for 3 years. It ran when parked because of a "miss in the engine"... Anyone here have any words of wisdom about what that might be? Other than expensive? Did not attempt to start it, just gave it a look over. no body damage, clear coat on hood and roof needs redone. Ask was $2K... we're "talking about that". I seem to recall something with plugs was a common issue on v12. and parts were $1,000 per side for coil packs. Thoughts, advise?
