Just got the sales pitch on this roof. He says there is some hail and wind damage but it’s older, as in over a year old. Basically full tear off redoing the rotted wood on the edges at some places with impact resistant shingles $36k. More basic deal is about $10k less. Not really sure if it’s going to be an insurance claim or not as he says it has to be filed within a year. Probably will end up doing nothing yet. I was really wanting to get a couple of new roofs out of USAA to return the favor.
