I haven't replaced them on the 602 yet, but I was able to ge4t except #3 (I think) on the 603 with a long 1/4" extension, swivel joint, and deep 12mm socket. It wasn't that bad. Of course, when I did take the manifold off to shim the ALDA, I took the opportunity to change the WRONG glow plug. So, #3 is still old - probably original, and I have one on the shelf with 2 or 3 K miles on it.
