What is appalling is the number of people (and I use the term loosely) who think that batteries and hydrogen are energy _sources_!
Leaving out cosmological-scale quibbling, there are only three primary energy sources: Solar (PV/heating, wind, hydroelectric, biomass, fossil fuel, OTEC) Kinetic (tidal, geothermal?) Nuclear (fission, fusion, geothermal?) Everything else is just a derivative of one of these, on varying time scales.
