I recall having some basic “chores” from a young age, like making my bed, cutting grass and doing dishes. That being said, I was working on local farms when I was 14, mainly because I wanted to generate my own income. Brother had a paper route, that never appealed to me. First “real” job was bussing tables at the steak joint my older brother cooked for.
