I generally hate the drive-thru in any form. Last summer I was up at the great northern estate and decided to go to Arby's. It was mid-day and as you'd expect it was packed, drive-thru line out to the street. I went in and got my food before the line moved.
When I came back out I couldn't actually leave, the line had closed around me and I couldn't get back into it. Fortunately when the line finally moved the car behind me waited and let me out. I was amazed that nobody else was willing to go inside. The next time I do it I'll park better for a speedy exit. -Curt On Tuesday, October 25, 2022 at 02:34:45 PM EDT, Allan Streib via Mercedes <mercedes@okiebenz.com> wrote: On the rare occasions I need to physically visit my credit union office, I don't use ATMs or drive-thru tellers anymore. Way to much hassle as they are generally broken, malfunctioning, out of cash, or overloaded (one teller handling 4-5 cars at a time). I park, walk in, and do my business. Generally back to the car before the drive-thru line has moved.
