That car has a 722.6 which can leak around the conductor plate connector at the transmission, then fluid can wick up to the TCM which is under the dash.  You can pull the connector and look at it or open the TCM housing to see if it is greasy. The oil can cause various issues if it contaminates the TCM or the wiring.

The 722.9 has its own set of issues but not similar to this
