They average around 14 or 15 in town driving and 18-19 highway. I get near that with my 7100# conversion van. 15 at 55MPH pulling a 36 foot camper actually. My 5700# M37 gets 12 local........Seems they could do allot better is all I am saying.

Seems Typical.
My father never saw 20 in his 1996 Dakota 3.9L 4x4, and never saw 18mpg
in his 2002 4.7L 4x4 that replaced it. Both trucks with auto tranny and
toneau covers, gently driven except when towing.
He's lucky to get 12mpg hauling his pontoon boat.
