Just a note,

When its REALLY cold out, like 0F or colder you'll want to glow +15-30 secs
twice. I've never found any real advantage in a third glow but the second glow
does seem to make a difference.

Then crank and HOLD.

I guess I agree with the crowd that said pump the accelerator and hold half
way. So all the way down and back maybe 3 times then hold midway and crank
until it starts or the battery dies. If its 0F or colder you've only got one
shot, make it a good one.

I remember when I used to be the youngest at things, but at 30 I'm apparently
an oldster...

Heck when I still worked in tech support I was ANCIENT.

YIPE!
It means "get out your checkbook".

Didn't Kaleb go through this not so long ago? I seem to remember after a few
changes the pepto went away...
I think its water, motoroil turns kinda light grey when mixed with water, if
you added some red dye I bet you'd get Pepto like this.

What makes tranny fluid turn pink? Air? Water? ??? I also found
some white stuff on the bottom of the pan as well...

I attached some pics of the transmission pan. The mark in the white
stuff is from me wiping my finger through it.

Thanks!!

Hi Curt,
Along with the Fraud Alert you need to ask all 3 (mandatory that all 3
are contacted) and tell them no accounts are to be opened unless they call
*you* and get authorization.

If credit is already in some criminals hands they likely have opened
many other accounts in your name. If they are particularily nasty they
might try to get a drivers license and other documents in your name also.
It can get real bad. You need to get credit reports from all 3 credit
agencies (you get them free once per year) and see what new accounts have
been opened. You can do all this on the phone & internet.

When you see fraudulent activity call the police and file a report - you
will need that to convince the companies you did not open the account -
because they *are* going to look to you to pay the bills - and you'll need
police reports to do that. The $12k in charges? I assume the credit card
company knows you didn't make those charges? Also, how did the activate the
card - I thought it could only be activated by calling from your home phone?
I guess the criminals have found a way around that. If you believe the CC
was taken from your mail box call the Post Office (or their website) and get
them involved. Mail Theft/Fraud is very serious and again, you'll need to
have reported it to deal with the credit providers.

Take a look at -
http://www.creditreportproblems.com/identity_theft.htm?gclid=CL6msb7YyYkCFSoIFQodchSjUg

Also, Google "Identity Theft" for more ways to help, but be careful -
some criminals have created websites to get people to provide SS #'s, etc
and steal their identities! Watch for Phishing. You ISP may offer a
Phishing Filter BTW. Comcast does.

Good luck - depending on the ability of the criminals this could be a time
consuming, expensive problem. Sorry this happened - there are some scummy
people out there!
