I second this suggestion. This is one place that you want a good quality flare nut wrench. I had some cheapies (Whitney or Harbor ... don't recall) that would round off the nuts like an open-end wrench. Then I got a good US-made flare-nut wrench and had no problems since. Since you only need one or two sizes (not a whole set) even a great wrench is not so costly.
