It is advisable to double check the torque on wheel bolts/nuts after a visit to the tire shop, unless you know that the shop do good work. Another side affect of over tightened lugs is that if you have a flat it is hard to undo with the standard tire wrench, especially for the fairer sex. Nothing worse than going to the aid of a damsel in distress only to find that the job has you beat as well.
