That one I'd leave out of my statistics, and wish for if it were me. A doctor in Lakeland FL performed unnecessary surgery on my father in law that let him live about one day longer, with more pain, because he didn't want to do that to 'his friend'. Some extra morphine would have been much kinder. BillR

It's most common form takes takes place as an overdosing of morphine when treating the terminally ill.
