The group that I want MHVLUG to get involved with ( assisting with web and remote education etc. ) is the New York Solar Energy Society (NYSES.org) I had a chance to talk to one of there members and they really seem to be cutting edge. They also track what skills and certs are needed and where to get them. Also they cover wind besides solar. I have a EE undergraduate degree and was able to talk about new composite materials with them, so they are current and highly technical.
I hope there is a cross over between our members and there focus ( renewable energy ) so that we may assist them in at least the field of computers. But this discussion is better left to after the meeting at diner ( hint, hint, all should come ) On Tue, May 4, 2010 at 10:40 AM, ew <[email protected]> wrote: > Thanks for all the responses. > > I have not fully given up on the electrical/construction field.
