But you are absolutely right about the battery life. You also will have
a miserable time of it in NYC - they have 4G down there and 4G KILLS the
battery. I spent time in Philladelphia recently and pretty much had to -
as you say - keep it on power the entire time. 4 hours would have been a
luxury.

You know, it's amazing just how many *days* of battery time you can get on a non-smartphone. On top of that you don't get gouged & ripped off on excessive charges from your wireless company. And without all that useless cruft, you'll find the phone can actually still make and receive phone calls, which is what a phone is for anyway.
