As I have seen stated many times before the reason SSL modules are not
included in the US distribution has to do with the exporting of
encryption algorithms from within the US to outside countries.
I am sure there are large numbers of us registered Miami users that are
quite happy with our dealings with Holger. I too had trouble installing
the SSL modules and had attempted it a couple of times.
Once I took the time to make sure I followed the steps TO THE LETTER I
had no problems at all! This is the key FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS and you
should have no trouble.
I have now done it multiples of times on other machines and due to hard
drive crashes etc. I am now enjoying a MiamiDX dial-on-demand
gateway/firewall that works wonderful.
