Are you sure that the dial-prefix code is not what is causing
something strange on the line to happen when using the non-call
waiting lines?
Alternatively you could upgrade to MiamiDx and then create two
interfaces, one for each phone line. Then whenever you use
another line, swap the wires over and press the other online
button.

I have one, but I'm not selling it... nostalgia :) I actually
got it after I had sold my A500. Dunno why I bought it, the
A1200 has one built-in, and besides I always used a monitor with
my computers.
