Hi!
I got a null-modem-connection now between two linux-boxes :-))
After reading tons of dokus about the whole networking-stuff and pppd,
finding out that the second com-ports of some PCs don´t work properly
and that there are differences between nullmodem-cables and such pretty
things, it wooooorks!
I´ll look forward to get the Amiga into the LAN with the nullmodem-cable.
I´ll get it to work...
Very interessting stuff all this! I´m not sure about the proxyarp-stuff and
what it means exactly; must have something to do with routing into subnets
or something...
Isn´t this great? Now I can setup a dial-in-server and give me and some
other people the possibility to login from Tokio ;)
