I'm sure I saved a setting there, before. I've just done a quick test and
I can make a "saved" change to "inetd.toomany" (I didn't try any others).
Perhaps you've found a bug.

You did check that you didn't make a "temporary" entry (the "temp" button
toggles an entry between permanent and temporary - an x in the temp
column, in the MUI GUI).

Nothing in the docs suggests it works that way.  Well, nothing that I've
noticed.
