That's interesting - that's one of the ones I changed and it didn't like it.

I didn't touch/check any buttons at all - I made all the changes from shell with Miami
running.
In the case of "TooMany" I did this:-
MiamiSysCtl -w inetd.toomany=60
I then got a little acknowledgement up like: toomany 10 > 60 - I can't actualy
remember the exact way it came out but it did confirm the change.
I used the -w bit for the other changes I wanted then I ran MiamiSysCtl -a to get a
complete rundown of all the options to make sure the changes had taken effect - and
they had.
After that I quit shell and went back to Miami (still running of course with the
activated changes) and saved everything to "test" like I said.
One thing I didn't say earlier is that I did a "reboot" before running Miami and what
I hoped were the revised saved settings again - in the event they didn't work.
Now maybe I did it completely wrong - can you can tell me what you did and I'll see if
it works here.
Colin
ps. looks like Kevin may have an answer in any event - but I'll be in bed by the time
he makes another posting so I won't be able to look at it untill tomorrow now.
