You could use that fuse for the #30 connection on the relay, but not for
energizing the coil. Is there an RCA jack for a knock sensor on your MAP
sensor? Chip #?

Ok....wire pulled. But does that verify the connection to the fan
driver? I am at a loss to why it is not working. Could I have a Mk1, and
is that a possible issue?

aux fan fuse is hot off battery, so with the switch off you're
feeding 12volts back into the ecu through the fan driver.

I thought it was a Mk2 but I could be wrong. I'll check again
tomorrow. Here is the ODD thing. I now have a switch added to take the
relay to ground and when I turn off the ignition if the switch is OPEN
my keypad has the Adjust, Edit and Select lit dim and nothing else. As
soon as I switch the line to ground they go out. This is with the key
OFF. I just noticed it tonight when I got home in the dark.

The relay has it's power coming from the aux fan fuse under the
hood that should not be getting power with the key off. It is very odd
that only the LED's for the names are getting lit but nothing else.

I am trying to get the ECU fan control
setup. I connected a relay to 1L per
the instructions but I still don't get
the fans to run when it gets hot. I
can get the fans to come on by grounding
the relay but the ECU is not taking
it to ground. I know I must be doing
something wrong...........just can
                                figure it out.
